Values
A Cultural Hub in the Heart of Nature
The Uncommon Ground Sculpture Park will feature a 35,000-square-foot EFA program space, anchoring 62 acres dedicated to blending art, recreation, and nature. This world-class facility will include galleries, performance venues, and educational spaces, enriching the lives of visitors and residents alike.
How the Partnership Began
The collaboration between EFA and Uncommon Ground started in 2021 when EFA was approached to provide arts programming for the planned park. At the time, EFA was exploring ways to expand, as their existing facilities could no longer meet demand, with 4,000 people on their annual waitlist. The partnership provided an opportunity for EFA to grow while helping advance the park’s development, especially when it faced obstacles. Together, they turned challenges into opportunities to benefit the entire community.
Why This Matters
This partnership promises to make Edmond a destination for culture and recreation along Route 66, fostering community engagement and artistic expression. Whether you’re an art lover, nature enthusiast, or simply looking for inspiration, this park will offer something for everyone.
